TOKYOPOP ANNOUNCES A PUBLISHING PARTNERSHIP WITH 247 COMICS
Los Angeles, CA — Manga publisher TOKYOPOP has announced a new publishing partnership with 247 Comics, a creator-led publishing and content studio known for manga-influenced original graphic novels. Under the partnership, TOKYOPOP will publish and provide product development and marketing support for a broad slate of 247 Comics titles, while also collaborating on licensed merchandise based on the properties.

Powered by TOKYOPOP's digital marketing resources, production expertise, and the extensive distribution network managed by Penguin Random House, the initiative launches in the coming months with exclusive print editions of 247 Comics' flagship graphic novels:
- EVERMIND — a sci-fi adventure
- HEROES BE DAMNED — an intense revenge saga
- BLADESMYTH — a swords-and-martial-arts action series
- ZERO GHOST — a supernatural crime drama
These comic shop exclusive editions will feature variant covers illustrated by world-class manga cover artists, giving collectors a reason to seek out print copies alongside digital releases.
247 Comics Powered by TOKYOPOP: Announcement Highlights
TOKYOPOP surprised the ComicsPRO community with the exclusive announcement of its comic shop exclusive single-issue and graphic novel partnership with 247 Comics, formally introducing the "247 Comics powered by TOKYOPOP"publishing initiative.
Executive Editor Terry Kavanagh — known for his legacy role as editor of Marvel Comics Presents — shared details on the first issue of 247 Comics Presents & Spotlight, a flip-book quarterly anthology. The debut issue of "Presents" features original stories by comics legends Larry Hama and Howard Mackie, alongside newcomer Anderson Carman's original series Cyber League, with a variant cover by superstar artist Daniel Warren Johnson. The "Spotlight" side reprints and remasters New Men, created by Rob Liefeld (Deadpool), and Sons of the Devil, created by Brian Buccellato (Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong).
