About 247 Comics
What is 247 Comics?
247 Comics is an upstart independent comics publisher and content studio founded by Carl Choi and Jeff Huang. We publish bold, original creator-owned and creator-led comics in genres like sci-fi, fantasy, action, and horror. Our mission is to give misfit creators real ownership, creative freedom, and a fair share of success while delivering high-quality physical comics to fans and retailers.
Are your comics creator-owned or independent?
Our titles are a combination of creator-owned AND independent comics. We built 247 Comics around a Partnership Publishing model. That means we take on all the risk, and creators share in the upside for the life of their IP, forever. It is not traditional work-for-hire, where creators walk away with nothing. And it is not pure creator-owned, where creators carry all the burden alone. It is something better than both.
What genres do you publish?
We focus on exciting, character-driven stories in sci-fi (e.g., Evermind), action-fantasy (e.g., Zero Ghost), supernatural, (e.g. Heroes Be Damned) and more. We’re always open to fresh voices that don’t fit the mainstream mold.
Our Comics & Editions
What formats do you offer?
We sell single-issue floppies (physical comic books), limited edition variants, artist editions, bundles, and collected editions. Many titles are also available digitally.
What are variant covers and limited editions?
Variant covers (or alternate covers) feature exclusive artwork, often by guest artists. Limited editions are printed in smaller quantities with premium features. These make great collectibles and frequently sell out quickly in our store.
Are your comics only physical or also digital?
We primarily focus on beautiful physical comics because we believe the tactile experience matters. Many titles are also available as digital editions for convenience.
Do you have ongoing series or complete stories?
We publish both mini-series (with a planned end) and ongoing projects. Many stories are designed to be satisfying even if you jump in later.
Shopping & Orders
How do I buy your comics?
Browse and purchase directly from our online store at 247comics.com/collections/all. We also run crowdfunding campaigns on Kickstarter for special editions and early access.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and times vary by location. For the most accurate rates, check the cart during checkout.
What is your shipping policy?
We aim to process and ship orders quickly, usually within 1–5 business days. Once shipped, delivery times depend on your location (faster within the US, including California). What is your returns or refund policy?
We currently do not accept returns or refunds on most items due to the nature of printed comics and limited editions. However, if an item arrives significantly damaged, please contact us right away with photos and order details so we can assist. See our full Refund Policy for more information.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Contact us as soon as possible after placing your order. We can try to accommodate changes before the item ships.
Creators & Submissions
How can I submit an original project to 247 Comics?
We’re always interested in hearing from talented writers, artists, and storytellers. Send a short pitch, sample pages, and contact info via our Contact page. Please note we receive many submissions and can’t respond to every one, but we do review promising creator-led ideas.
Do you accept unsolicited submissions?
No, but we strongly prefer polished pitches that align with our focus on bold, original independent comics. Email or DM us, come say Hi at the next convention. We care more about our relationships than our catalog. We believe that if we get along and are in community, we’ll make great stories and art together!
Retailers & Wholesale
Do you offer wholesale to comic shops?
Yes! We love supporting local comic shops (LCS). Retailers and store owners can reach out via our Contact page for wholesale inquiries and ordering information.
Other Questions
Do you run Kickstarter campaigns?
Yes. Many of our projects (including Evermind) launch on Kickstarter with exclusive rewards, early access, and special variants. Backers often get first dibs on limited physical editions.
How do I stay updated on new releases and drops?
