He began his career withHyperkinetic(Image Comics) and is best known as the co-creator of the hit sci-fi seriesBlack Science with Rick Remender. His dynamic artwork has appeared in major titles for Marvel, DC, Image, BOOM! Studios, and Skybound, includingSecret Avengers,Indestructible Hulk, Deadpool, Batman, King of Spies, andThe Ambassadors. Scalera also created a highly collectible variant cover for Evermind #1 for 247 Comics.
